Tara Kelley-Cruz's abstract mixed media paintings deal with the question of what things in our history shape who we are as individuals and as a culture. Kelley-Cruz holds a BFA degree, specializing in printmaking. She has a Graphic Design background. In her painting practice, she combines the best parts of printmaking, graphic design and the experimental nature of painting. An architectural triumph: Nine 18" solid square frames each showcase a 9" abstract neutral canvas that floats on a platform. The frames, in an ash veneer of warm white, can be hung together to create a singular dimensional work or art. Each replicated canvas can be hung horizontally or vertically.
