James Kerr, a Contemporary Abstract Artist living near Stratford upon Avon, England, first began as a decorative painter for London's leading interior designers. He honed his craft and use of color, paint and materials, and has since built an enviable reputation for gutsy abstracted work. James uses abstract shapes, blocks of color, along with thick layers of impasto paint, to create unique, colorful and dimensional art. Abstract and textured, this tonal white work suggests a scene known truly only to the viewer - a cityscape, table-setting, an intimate memory.
